Back from a European trip and whilst in Switzerland spotted a convoy of 6 new 998s and one new boxster. Was this a rare or very rare sight?

Followed them for a couple of miles and manage to get some good photos. All in black, reminded me of the 70s film condorman....

Nobody seemed to care as we snapped away whilst they refuelled!
 
Individual development cars in black camouflage are by no means a rare sight, particularly in southern Germany. Seeing so many at once being tanked up suggests that they may have been travelling in convoy to a test site, possibly the Nardo high-speed circuit in southern Italy since you saw them in Switzerland.

The crews will be relaxed about the cars being photographed because a) the cars are camouflaged and b) they know they cannot prevent it anyway so its pointless getting into a sweat about it.
