In two years perhaps the Panamera will be £50K I suspect

How many are behind me waiting to have one

Black with choc leather + rear and side tinted windows

Roll on 2012 !!

I was quite keen to put my hat in the ring, then I re-read the thread title and realised you hadn't written "dropped £50k".

If you change your mind, I have £20k with PanAm's name on it.

£20K for a PanAm ? Surely that years away . No?

Mind you Cayenne's are dipping to £10K next year
but 7 year old ones
But at £50k its a whole lot of car - but yes perhaps £40K is a target price to try one at

What's the bentley continental 4 door looking like after 4 years ? I really want to love the Pan Am.

The Bentley is just a VW though

Will the PanAm get that second division footballers image though - doubt it

Bloody hope not!

2016 Porsche Boxster 981

PostPosted: Mon Aug 09, 2010 10:14 pm    Post subject: Reply with quote

I'm in at 50% of the price of the base model - whatever that comes out at.. I'm guessing 40k?

Bentley Conti Gts are below 40k, i think (is that 1/3 of the new price?) - perhaps even down to 35 for an early one, with some miles on the clock. According to the Autocar buying guide, they are really tough cars with few problems

i think the Porsche needs to be similarly bullet-proof to make them a desirable buy even at those levels though - as this is a car they will produce in volume

i do really want one - a Porsche family car for when your kids no longer fit in the 911 and a Porsche that is still a proper sports car thumbsup

oh, you wait till Mansory have done one in matt white, with 22" wheels and baby-blue leather interior, with 'I love you', embroidered on the head-rests. They'll be forming a disorderly queue at the importers gates. Mark my word, its only a matter of time.

I'd give a pre-owned PanAm a look at £40k. I quite like them now - they are unlike anything else on the roads . With the the right size & design of wheels, they look attractive. The interiors are amazing.

Shouldn't be long now imo...
Have you seen how many 'demo' models are sitting at dealers with less than 100 miles on? Surprised
Is this the first of the Pre - Reg Porkers? 911's next? Dont know

Ok, I shall up the ante to £33k, but that's my final bid.

I'm assuming that's an exaggeration.

I am sure you could break it for more.

Did anyone spot the article in November issue of 911 & Porsche World stating that the Panamera is the most popular model in the States with 4,800 sold in the first 8 months of 2010 and in August alone, the volume was approx equal to the Boxsters, Caymans and 911s combined.

There's no accounting for taste.

PS: Boxer+Speedster=Boxster
