Hi All,

I'm fairly regular poster on the 911 forum but a friend of mine is having some Boxster issues so I was hoping you might be able to help.

Every other day he starts the car in the morning (1999 2.7 version) he gets a puff of white smoke. Nothing as dramatic as the other post but an issue none the less.

Any ideas what might be the cause and the remedy?

Cheers guys,

Dan.

Not an uncommon issue for any boxer engine,. however it could also be a failing air oil seperator. The best thing to do is to remove the inlet ducting around the throttle body and look to see if there is much oil accumulation.
