Just got back into a Porsche after being sensible for two years, and it's great to be back.

Just brought black GTS cab.

Previously owned:
X50 996 Turbo
4S 996
Boxster S

2009 C2S PDK

....another 335i (382bhp one though) refugee.

Loving it :thumb:

Now the very happy owner of a 997 C4S which replaces a CLK 55 AMG.

And love it!!! So very different to the CLK.

Had a 54 plate C2S for 2 years, followed by a 3 year dalliance in an Exige but happy to have spent the last 12 months in a GT3.

Hello everybody, chose to make my first posting here rather than in the newbie welcome section (where all people can inevitably say is hello and welcome) :)

Also a 335i refugee, in the most spectacular sense (ordered one and cancelled it before delivery, losing 3,000 Euros in downpayment, having panicked at the financial crisis and having realized that this could be the last chance of making a boyhood dream come true, even if it risks being short-lived).

So, I bought from a Porsche dealership, in July, a meteor grey Carrrera GTS Coupe PDK, pre-owned (by themselves), March 2011, with 9,000 km on the clock, at least some of which on the Hockenheimring, as the Navi's "previous destinations" indicate.

Changed its first oil in 11,000 km, the car now has 12,000.

I already visited Nordschleife, for the inevitable rite of passage for her and myself, with the help of an N-experienced friend in the co-driver's seat.

Only fly in the ointment up to now, a slight rattling noise from the rear window, which my nearest (Belgian) Porsche dealership has failed to fix, and an obviously false alarm message about the transmission on the trip computer (software bug, according to fora litterature).

Hoping to maybe meet some of you one day, on some beautiful British racetrack.
