I am considering a 997 3.8S or a Cayman instead of my trusty 330i Sport and saw these performance figures. I didn't realise the 3.4S Cayman was so close to the 911 3.8S in performance.

Are they correct or is this a mistake ?

not quite the lighter Cayman S is a 0-62mph in 5.2 secs verses the heavier 911 3.8 S of 4.7secs, still close

It's the 0-100mph times where you see the gap increase. 3.8s over a second quicker, according to Autocar.

Figures are in the back of their mag each week. You can read old reviews from the web site www.autocar.co.uk
