E Bay surprise!

I went today to collect some undertrays for my 964 which I bought on E Bay

On opening the garage door I was greeted with a nice Cobalt blue 964 Targa.

However parked next to it was this!

A true thing of beauty, the engine bay was absolutely stunning.


Built by Early 911 and based on a 72 car so not a backdate as much as an upgrade

I was in awe and extremely jealous

Owner was a really nice guy and a proper Porsche nut

Made the journey worthwhile on its own

Tis very nice. Didn't Early 911 do Simon's car? :?: Wonder if it cost as much ...
 
That is a lovely car, went to view it last March. It is reasonably priced for the the build and goodies. I bought the guys other car instead (N-GT), but Dave is a real Porsche nut like most of us. I beleive it may be at Le mans classic next year!
 
Smtk's car was done 'properly' by Francis Tuthill http://www.francistuthill.co.uk/ :) after Moss at Early 911 clearly couldn't

I'm surprised the pics of smtk's car are still up there as that's all the work of Tuthills, or rather I'm not surprised :roll:

I'm pretty sure your accusation is incorrect

Early 911 built the car, and finished it as per the pics on their site

It later went to Tuthills for bits and pieces (according to the build thread) when it came out with teh Porsche decal on the back and smaller numberplate etc, but to say all of the work was Tuthills is just plain wrong
