Thanks Guys for the compliment. Still can't understand why I like my car so much!

I retrofit the compartment lid one month ago. Waited 10 weeks+ for the part to arrive. As the lid is manufactured by Porsche Exclusive, you need the chassis no. from another 911 who already got the lid fitted.
If you struggle to get a chassis number, give Neil (parts) from Chester OPC a call, I got my lid from him!

PS. I had tried a few OPC inc. some independent Porsche specialist, he is the only one who bother to find the part I want!

I have seen a 997 with a large Porsche crest on the compartment lid which also looked good

Looks good.

I like the chrome wheel bolts. Are the security nuts not available in chrome as well?

Regards

I got the chrome wheel bolts from Ralph Boothe Design. Their locking wheelnuts are chrome but they look exactly like the other wheelbolts. Those **** wheel thief will still have a go!

The ones that I got on my car are still chrome---from Mcguard. The bolt head is short. That's why you can't see it.

Im still trying to find one that looks good and serve its purpose to deter casual thief!

How much was the centre console with fitting if you don't mind me asking? Nice pics btw looks awesome :thumb:

Cost me £3** :nooo: for the lid with the Carrera S logo. I fitted the lid myself---so that's free

The lid itself without the logo cost £2**. Shocking price but I still went for it with the aluminium handbrake as the combination compliment the black interior very well!

The double stitching on the lid match well with those on the seats and the handbrake lever!

Only mods left is the powerkit! :? 408bhp, should push the G2 997S beyond 190mph and help me to keep up with those big Jags (XKR), Mercs (C63AMG) and the upcoming RS5!
