Anyone tried a DIY Horn upgrade?

Aparently 1 of the 3 airhorns not working and I'm contemplating a DIY fix.

Anyone done this before, or do you guys hand over cash at the next OPC service?
 
One of my horns is broken (was told there were two, not three), and is being fixed under warranty next visit.
I'm told by the OPC it is a bumper-off job, so probably not cheap in relation to parts cost!
 
Ok thanks for that. I've got a 12 month indy warranty, and I will probably need to service the car before it's expiry. Sounds like a job to reclaim some of that investment. Cheers

it should be a twin horn unit, just a case of getting to it

no reason why the unit should wear out so soon, must be faulty
 
This will be an interesting test of Indy vs OPC warranty - can you let us know what happens with this?
