Intermittent brake light problem

997tt NSR light cluster has an intermittent fault on the brake light.

Every now and then (maybe when engine warm?) I get a dashboard warning signal, I check the light and sure enough it's dud.

Magically fixes itself sometimes or sometimes responds to a slap on the lens.

Interestingly the rear light in the same bulbholder is fine....

Loathed to go to OPC even though under warranty as its intermittent and of course it won't happen and they'll ciharge analisys time.

Sounds like a classic loose wire/bad connection somewhere which you should investigate yourself first to keep the pennies down and learn a bit too. :thumb:

Yeah...thing is all the bulb holders have sealed "glued" in wire connectors.....so investigation is going to be destructive.

Wanted ideas before I got the big hammer out :dont know:
