WTF! Porsche West London

Stuart sorry to hear of your frustrations...pics look awful, how the hell do they do that, let alone get away with it.

Drop me a PM if you need a hand to getting this sorted...

Thanks Afsar, you have mail.

I'm kind of expecting a 'how do we know it wasn't there already' response. I'm assuming they have cctv covering the workshops... I have pictures from the week before when I put the car up for sale showing no door ding. I'm really hoping this doesn't progress into a full blown fight.

This will definitely be the last time I use them that's for sure...

I think those pictures were actually taken a DAY before though, weren't they.

Oops, yeah, thanks, that's what I ment, I always get those 2 mixed up... :?

Stuart - for those of us who met you at the recent drive out, I am sure any one of us would be happy to testify that we saw no dings in your bodywork compared to the pictures you have put up post-OPC visit. I for one would be happy to vouch for that if you needed me to. In fact, I can post you all the pics I took on disc (some of which have your car in) so you can prove your case from another person taking the pics instead of you. Don't know if that helps.

Thanks Maxie, I'm speaking with them later on today so will find out just how much of a fight is needed...

Sorry to hear this Stuart. You can read posts elsewhere where I outline my problems with Chiswick. I wont go into it, but I only went there cos I had the warranty and Chiswick were the sole reason I ditched the warranty. I have found their engineers to be incompetent, their service staff to be arrogant and ignorant (a potent combo) and their bodyshop (outsourced) to be unreliable and lacking in attention to detail. The service head (Greg I think) is a nice guy who means well, but he cannot make up for the idiots littered throughout the rest of the building.

For my last complaint I wrote to the dealer principal. I got a reply that was courteous and polite, but admitted no wrongdoing whatsoever, didnt even discuss the problems I had, and left the burden on me to return my car to them so they could see if they were prepared to accept any responsibility (even though the issues I had did not warrant a physcial inspection of the car). I would rather eat my own poo than give Chiswick another £ of my money.

Good luck.

Stuart,

Any news yet?

Hope its good news!!!

Yes, they fixed the aircon noise, fixed the broken glovebox latch, did an invisable fix with the mark on the glovebox and it's booked in this coming week to get the 'ding' mended. I've just been taking some before pics of the colour match between panels just in case...
I also may have raised my voice slightly in a packed showroom and there may have also been the odd vein popping out my forehead but it all seems to be getting sorted :thumb:

As a side note, they've got a lovely white 997GT3 for £77k in there :worship:

Nothing wrong with raising your voice a bit (as long as you do not go to the extreme and situation gets out of control etc). From my experience it almost always works. (assuming you do not use abusive language and ensure that the attack is not directed to a specific person but to the situation/system you are in etc)
Hope that all the problems are going to be sorted
