brake light and washer fluid

Hi guys

anyone know if changing the brake light is a simple of difficult process i have a 05 997 2s

also washer fluid anything i shouldnt use???

Brake light, very simple job,, open engine lid and you will notice two screws on rear wings near the light cluster, simply undo them and slide light cluster out, if any use, Halfords sell replacement bulbs...
 
Get rid of those poached egg indicator bulbs whilst your at it..been thinking of doing this myself. :)

I did mine ages ago... :wink:
Also replaced them on the van, right up to it failed the MOT.
I asked why and was told because they are not orange..!
I pointed out that they did illuminate orange which is the MOT requirement..
New bulbs and apologies :D

This is only on my cars rear indicators obviously, on the latest 997 the lenses tend to be red, so makes little difference to a silverline lamp or not..
