Folks,

want to replace my carpet as it is a little grubby. NOT the car over mats but the interior carpets in the footwell. My car has very light colour gray carpets and the footwell carpets are missing. dont ask why ?

where is the best source to get these interior carpets and a set of overmats at good prices. Dont mind sourcing carpets from breakers either if too difficult to find.

appreciate the help and pointers.

NB. my steering wheel looks different to other 964's i saw. is this the RS one ?

Southbound trimmers in Andover are excellent, Porsche specialist, and recommended by most luxury car clubs

I've just had my 964 re-trimmed by them, using OEM spec material, but they also sell the stuff separately if you want to fit yourself

phone number: 01264 810080

website: http://www.southboundtrimmers.com/

there are obviously others around the country, and I'm sure forum members can let you know who is near to you

Bosses name is David

Pirelliepete,

Big mega thanks. I have been traling the net for suppliers for ages since i got this car.

The pictures they have on their webiste for "carpet sets only" section is almost identical to my interior ! You star !!!!!

Are they pricey ?

thanks for the info. Unfortunately, i am out in Hong Kong so cant bring the car to them

Plan to get all my little porschey bits and bobs either sent out, or get it on my next trip back to UK!

thanks boxsey.

was thinking of going back to the original wheel but this is really growing on me and i like the feel of it.

I don't know the price for supply only, but fitted, it was around $3000HKD.

Its a shame you didn't get the car last year, I was regularly flying through Hong Kong, but am on a different contract now.

good luck

BTW, I have a similar wheel in mine, and would recommend keeping it, both the look and the feel are better IMO.
cheers

Jlee, got my conversion factors mixed up,

it was £1000 UK, fitted, $3000 singapore, hopefully you know the HK$ rate
sorry :?

Not sure where you are located but I had my last TVR done by a company in Baldock call AR Pound - amazing job and great value at about £400 all in! Pig of a job in a TVR as well as the trim parts are carpet as well as the floors.
