I'm looking for a L suffix plate (1973) offering £250

Doesn't have to say anything, but shorter the better.

From what i have been told if you sell your L plate the DVLA will issue another
 
Simo, worth looking out in classic car mag classifieds.

Except it needs an MOT ...

Trying to buy off any classic owner might be tough as the reg is an intrinsic part of it's history and the owners are not going to want to sell even if they get a newly assigned one. What you want to find is some old geezer driving round in a Trotters Independent Traders type knackered van.

exactly loads of old bangers on ebay but without an MOT are worthless to me
