Hi guys,
just after a bit of advice if you wouldnt mind. My 2000 Boxster S is due a service in a couple of months and as im selling it Ithought id better get it done. The previous services have been carried out by msport and OPC (the last 1 was OPC wilmslow). As its a major service do u reckon id be better having it done at an OPC or a specialist such as camtune (saving me about 150 quid)? Would you be more willing to shell the pounds buying a car with a mixed service record if the last 2 were OPC?

Cheers,

David.

If its just £150 difference I'd go for OPC just based on the fact that any buyer would struggle to argue against an OPC service (rightly or wrongly) and whilst Camtune are good less buyers will know of them particularly Boxster buyers. Just my 2p.

Think Chris is right, for some models there is no problem going to certain specialists rather than an OPC, but I think in your case for £150, stick with the OPC if they've fine with you in the past.
