Hi

I recently took delivery of a 2003 C2 in Meridian Silver. To keep it looking good what are the best easily available car care products for that 'showroom finish'.

Thanks for your time.

From all acounts 'G' at elite detailing is your best bet. Judging by his pictures on various threads on this site he'll get it better than showroom condition! And there are many people here who will testify to his excellent work and professional approach. I hope to get him to do my C2 someday soon, maybe as a birthday present to myself :D :D

The waxes he uses are Zymol. These are very high quality Carnauba based waxes and glazes. My cars are treated with the Zymol Titanium wax which whilst not creating the best high gloss gives specialist protection for high speed motorway or track use.

I posted a cheap link to zymol Glasur yesterday, that is a great wax, without going to vintage or Royale!

Was that www.zdouk.com? I recently ordered a Glasur starter kit - £74.50 all in :D .

About time we had a new Nipple Pink example

Now now, be gentle with the noob, they have to be bedded in carefully before they blossom!

Welcome Boss. I for one think Meridian is gorgeous. Don't worry about any of the ribbing, it is all said tongue in cheek. The colour looks absolutely fantastic in certain lights. My previous car was a Meridian 996 Targa often referred to as the Pink Peril. I still miss her :(

For silver use Klasse All-in-One to clean, prepare and remove light scratches and follow up with a few coats of Klasse Sealant Glaze (4 coats will have it popping) if you are really ***** you can put a layer of wax for that extra shine :)

Its all in the preparation- lots of time spent getting the paint as good as you can before the wax goes on will make more difference than an uber-polish made of distilled unicorn horn extract.

I enjoy prepping a car, but I got G at Elite to do 'paint correction' i.e. one day spent meticulously measuring the paint depth, and machine-polishing the paint with different grades of polish until all the swirls, scratches and marrs had gone. He then left me to do the Zymol bit.

Welcome btw, nice spec on the car!
