Hi
Just a quick question please. I have a 1991 C2 Tiptronic. Is it normal when selecting reverse at rest and with the engine at tickover to hear a "clonk" as the gear is enguaged, because mine does!!!

Thanks Dave

Flexible propshaft coupling need replacing?

Do you find that this happens more when you are on a slope?

Thanks for the replies.
Hard to say if it happens more when on a slope I have not really noticed, although come to think about it I always seem to notice this problem when selecting reverse on the driveway which is on a fair slope

My 996 does this when I'm selecting reverse or drive when the car is on a slope. I understood that this was normal from something I read a while back. Fraid I can't remember the details.
