Finally picked it up after waiting for the new V5 to come back after he took off his old reg plate.

The funny thing was the car had never been out in the rain and as soon as he opened up the garage door for me to drive off the heavens opened. Still it`ll give me an excuse for me to clean it over the weekend.

All I can say is wow, my previous cars have been clio 172, Scooby STI, Lotus Elise 135 and EVO 8 MRFQ-340 and this is by far the best thing I`ve ever drivin.

Yeah the EVO was very fast but the NA 3.8 engine pulls like a train and would leave the EVO for dead from higher speeds.

The spec is as follows and he gave me the car cover, alloy fuel cap, brolly and silver keyring.

C2S september 2005 55 reg silver, with black leather 2800 miles, 1 owner from new

Sports Exhaust,Adaptive sport seats, Tel Module, Sport Chrono PackAutomatically dimming interior and exterior mirrors with integrated rain sensor Cruise control Heated seats, Tyre Pressure Monitor Manual gearbox Navigation module for PCM ParkAssist (parking aid rear) Windscreen with grey top tint

Beautiful looking 997! Also a decent spec too - like the adaptive seats. That EVO must be one of the ugliest ever produced! But yes, acknowledged, one of the most capable too. (Have you see the forthcoming EVO - they seem to have got the looks on that one licked?).

I'm not a fan of silver at all but that is absolutely beautiful!

Welcome and enjoy...

The 997 looks brilliant in silver (not that I'm biased  ) I just think lighter colours suit the car. Looks really nice, well done !
