Please accept this thread as my introduction, My name is Dave Thompson, Live in Northumberland and own a 1997 Boxster 2.5.

I hope some of you may be able to help, I have just had the car serviced at Porsche Newcastle. They reported that the two front and OSR wheel spats were missing, I was told it wasnt important. BUT what are they, I cant see the difference between the OSR & NSR arches so dont know whats missing. Can anyone help enighten me?

Spats you say ?on the wheels

I thought that the bits on the bottom corner of the rear bumpers were spats ?

Well I'm just going by the invoice notes from the dealer - it clearly says:



OSR Wheel spat missing

2 x front wheel spats missing

?????????????????????????

They are 'relatively' rare additions to the GT3 body kit, I've never seen a Boxster with them
