great day on the rollers yesterday,

mine showed 388bhp in standard trim, so very pleased with that indeed.

on turbo showed 604bhp, wow that is loads.

CSL M3 very respectable 356bhp, not shy at all, and great looking in the flesh, the star of the day was the 997GT3 RS, with Glen showing 445 bhp and Peters showing 435, now Glens is remapped, and Peters isnt, so very impressive factory figures esp as they quote 415 std.

Crystal ball time, met a guy who had a lovely 964RS in mint condition LHD, has owned it for 6 years, when he bought it, in the place he got it from, there was for sale a guards 993RS LHD for £32k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

wait for it

2 x 1973 2.7RS touring, for £32k & £36k, today way North of £100k for these cars,

wish I had a crystall ball, and for a mint 964RS 6 years ago £25k, wow

RS prices have cartainly gone ape sh*t in the past few yrs. Only a yr or so ago when I started looking at 993RS, they were "only" in the low £40's for a decend one, now it's approaching mid £50's !!!

The 964 RS has been going up steadily over the yrs, but the 993RS had been level until a couple of yrs ago and then it just went mad!

I don't think, or hope, they'll go the way 2.7RS did, 'cos I still want to see them on track and roads. The later RS are built much stronger esp in terms of body panels, and so hopefully the total number existing won't dwindle like the 2.7RS.

I'm just glad I'm now finally on the RS ladder, not that I'll want to climb any higher!

I was running 97 rated fuel, and apparentley, if I was running 99, my bhp would have been closer 400bhp,

not bad for std car

Some interesting results there Daz. Glen must be well chuffed - those are amazing figures!

Daz, how are they working out those bhp figures you quoted? I guess that those are estimated flywheel bhp figures and not at the wheels? Just wondered what percentage they figured in for transmission losses - did they give you actual dyno output?

have to ask Ade those sorts of questions, as I honestly dont know I am afraid
