After my 911 996 hydraulic(ed) (sorry about the spelling) mid november i took it to Swifts/David Underwood in sheffield, originally thinking that the cylinder liner had gone pourous, the engine was stripped. it later emerged that the piston rings (especially the scraper ring) had failed letting oil get past the pistons, into the engine and through the exhausts (not good!) two and a half months later i am still waiting for my car to return and feel that i am being fobbed off with various excuses. has anybody had any dealings with them? Also, is it possible to request a OPC mechanic to take a look and get a second opinion?
kind regards
