I have just got rid of my much loved 1966 Karmann Ghia and I am now on the hunt for my first pre 74 911.

I would prefer a Targa but would consider any model.

has anybody any advise or tips as to where I should start, what sort of price should I pay etc etc

Thanks

try carandclassics site there were some nice old 911's on there last month.

My advice get full service history car, these cars are very expensive if they go wrong.

try hosting the pics on a 3rd party photo site, e.g. photbox, etc and then use their url to put the pics on the site

think Autofarm and Fuchs(not Warren on here) are the dealers that deal in mainly pre-74's

Try Nick Moss at
www.early911.co.uk

Also visit the DDK forum
www.ddk-online.com
as you'll find private cars for sale there and a lot of early 911 knowledge.

Ian.

Try Classic Chrome in Barnes. I don't what they are like to deal with but I've peeked in the showroom a few times and the cars look great.
