Just purchased a trolley jack which is low enough to roll under the car (think my mk1 is a pretty low example) without any problems. Should fit mk2 easy and RS ok too.

Costco - Arcan 2T service jack, was about £80 inc. VAT superb quality and looks as cool as..

Off to start playing with me pipes now ;)

Will try and get some pics sorted - impressed so far with its maiden lift. These 3's ain't no lightweights by the way, feels considerably heavier to jack than my old 993 did!

I have just been looking into this and there also a couple of light weight ones available from some ebay shops, for those without Costco membership:

The one from costco is similar to the second one spotted by Supersport. 90mm min saddle height is about the maximum height you can squeeze under a 3 due to the side skirt shape.

There's also one in Machinemart for about £93 but its only rated for 1.25T.

Super sports 2nd eBay link

That jack looks pretty good and free axel stands pnp 8 quid not bad. I think i might order one as the jack we have atm is the one from my old mans garage (circa 1970's)

The guy in the first link is cheaper but minus the stands and pnp is 28 quid!
