yes, I also had a look in the user guide which has an illustration of the back. The yellow plug above looks like it will fit, same pins, same arrangement but the actual plug on the back of the unit is one big one.

That sure looks like the correct one.

I received mine today too , with the speakerline out-put plug aswell.And the unit release tools....

Yes, correct lead for amp. The reason the plug looks small compared with the socket on the set is that the same socket is used for a CD changer.

just one thing now that i know it's the right cable - on the back of the stereo the upper plug is one large plug which covers all pins, this converter cable is meant to plug into the same position but to the left and only occupy 6 pins, do i need to cut the large plug? Have a look at the pic below -

See the red plug, the right side has a divider line so i presume i cut it here
