I can tell you all about an air-cooked engine if that helps

You've cooked the engine! I told you water in there, oil in the other

Agree with you all. 1st stop air mass meter, 2nd coil packs, 3rd wiring to the injectors. How do I know? Had one of the first 3.2 Audi TTs and it had this problem. That's the order the garage replaced the bits in, followed by re-load the ecu software, customise the ecu software then who knows? some other poor b'stard has got the problem now and I've got a 911

Donna, I had simmilar symptoms a week ago on my 996. Turns out it was the coil packs which are Porsch's equivalent of spark plug leads. Cheap and simple job, £25-£30 each x6. Coil packs are a common problem and will cause the car to miss and judder if cracked or old.
