Dead battery

Morning all,

After not driving my car for 5 weeks , I needed to start it and surprise surprise the battery was flat. The worst thing was obviously apart from the sudden realistation that I now need to buy a new battery , was having to ask the next door neighbours to help me push it out of the garage to try to jump start it. We managed to push the car out whilst pictures were taken and various comments were made.

Pulled my little 206 up next to it and attached the jump leads only to find that the battery wasn't strong enough to start it !! :(

To stop this happening again and the ridicule repeating itself , can someone suggest a good quality trickle charger.

Cheers

Toby

Dont buy a porsche battery! - get a Bosch silver for less than half the price - Google to get your local supplier.

Cheers guys , the current battery is a Porsche one but have been advised by my local Porsche specialist to get a Bosch silver one. He charges 75 quid incl VAT so happy with that.
