I have been looking for a special classic 911 for some time. The RS and RSRs are very rare and prices quite substantial. Lately, I've come across some very nice 2,7 US Carreras from 74 and 3,0 ltr Carreras from 76/ 77.

How rare/ sought after/ valuable are these models?

Appreciate any advice on this matter!

The 2.7 RS are going for over £100k here and are very rare. I would guess most are kept as collection rather than driven.

A lot of the active posters here had gone for a blast in Nurburgring so it'll be a bit quiet this wkend.
