Hi

I have just purchased a 911 2.7 1975, i am new to the air cooled engine scene and was wondering does anybody know what the normal gauge running temperature for this engine is when driving it at a steady pace.

Also what is the normal oil consumption rates for a good condition 2.7?

Thanks

NP

i'm assuming you didn't get a handbook/drivers/owners manual then?..........if you did then it should be all in there

well i cant see the older engine being much different to the later 993 engine temp wise.........i normally see it hitting just on or slightly above the 1/4 mark when warmed up
