Guys
Ever since it turned cold (November) Ive noticed a sort of clunking/bumping feeling from the steering/wheels when on full lock. This pretty much coincided with new front suspension (OEM) fitted at Northways.
I took it back to Northways and they did a solid look over, identified that I had a recent new steering rack (good), that the suspension struts were in place correctly (good) that there was no problem with the bushes/wishbones (good) no wheel bearing issues (good). But they couldnt find the problem (*****!!). Since then Ive not been driving much - new job in London- but its still there, doesnt seem to impact drive and handling but Im worried. I will and can take it back to Northways, but wondered if anybody here has any ideas? Could it be alignment, I wouldnt have thought this would show as a low speed (full lock) issue plus Nways advised me that I didnt need to have it realigned following the new struts as they has taken care to keep it in line. Re-reading that last bit (re alignment) it sounds a bit 'soft' but I do trust them.
Anyway any help appreciated.
Thanks
Martyn
