I have been looking into getting a cage, the Tequipment one from an OPC is circa £950 + vat, Carnewal does it for €950 but you have to add Belgium tax (approx 20%) and shipping!

Then fitting would be about 4 hours at an OPC or specialist like JZ, so that will cost at least £200.

There is a company (the owners are ex Safety Devices) and they can do a cage, bolt in, same as the Tequipment one, powder coated, fitted for only £675 +vat, mind you cash might take care of the vat.

I've got some pics and got the recommendation from a guy of P'heads who has a MK1. Interested?

Hi Poon;

No, I found a German source... Want one for trackdays? It's very simple to fit , took 15 mins and has variable adjustment unlike the MK1 GT3 rear wing.

Also, the half roll cage is easy to fit, I've done a few, speak to Sidporsche he will give you the lowdown....he works on GT3's every day.

Hi Michael,

hope not!!!!

Hi Stu,

Vehicle budget won't stretch at moment, got a couple of things to sort on the other 2 as a higher priority.
