hopefully the production version will have a full reflector across the rear...

You I like the car however I still think it looks too heavy to be a sports car

Does anyone wish that Porsche would just stretch the 997 buy a ft and then call it the Panamerica.

Then stop holding back on the Cayman let it have the new 997 engine and the turbo chargers etc and call it the new 911? Because I’m really liking the Cayman just don’t like the idea Porsche has neutered it to keep the 997 top dog.

Like the Cayman until I look at the back end, does not work for me at all.

First looking at those wheels i'm really liking them i'd have them powder coated black with polished spokes and rim

I didn’t like the look of the Cayman from the launch photos but I think the aspect ratio was off on them

But in the metal it looks very nice (although the 997 is a prettier car, but maybe the Cayman could nick a shrunk version of the body too..). I like the fact it’s small. I don’t think any amount of engineering can make a large/heavy car feel like one ½ the weight and size. If anyone has been in or seen a Maclaren F1 that’s a tiny compared to what I imagined it would be

And if I’m very honest I think in a year or 2 I’ll be on the look out for a used Cayman to stable with my temperamental 993.

Lovely. Don't hold out your hopes for a full-width reflector panel Sundeep...

does any know the reason porsche droped it? (personal taste of designers or focus groups)

the only reflectors for the 997 are going to be those you find on eBay

Generally like it obviously but Im not so keen on the front spoiler looks too heavy for my liking esp in the 6th picture.

I never thought I'd say this, but I think the 996TT looks a more cohesive and better balanced design than these photos suggest...

Those wheels should be chromed and mounted to a blinged up Caddy...
