Bought her exactly one week ago from a fellow 911uk'er. RHD & in A1 condition. I'm celebrating one week of pure pleasure driving.

Looks remarkable similar to an 88 coupe I once owned... not many granite green cars around. I'd love to know it it is the same car which would be spooky!

How many miles? What colour is the trim?

Robert.

Thats interesting I was thinking about previous owners only last night & how nice it would be to contact them to get some history, when they bought, how much paid, driving history etc.

85k mileage and white leather trim. It was registered in late 87 although engine and chassis no are 88.

Sadly probably not the same then- mine had grey hide with red piping and was an 88 E reg car.

I'd love to know what happened to that car- reg when I had it was E687MDX.

With regards to your car, you can ask the DVLA for a previous keeper list for a small fee. They'll usually send it you if you are an enthusiast looking for the history of your own car.

Thanks for that. I'll chase this up as it would be great to hear all their stories, assuming they are all contactable! I have got quite a few names & addies from the log and history details mind.

Been playing in PS and produced a charcoal image.

Mark, contacting previous keepers was an idea I never quite got around to. But like you say most of them are in the history files anyway. Certainly keepers 1 and 2 are. Keeper 5 was the man who had the alarm fitted and I was keeper 6. So at worst you are only missing two of them.

Thanks Simon. Just gone through the records & I now have all 6 names and addresses. Time to start writing!
