New Warning light!!!

Hi there,

I have a red warning light coming on that is not in the manual! The symbol looks like a gear-stick and its situated in between 7&8 o'clock on the clock face dial. I have just changed the battery (with no cut in the system voltage) and this has just appeared - everything else seems to be OK.

Does anyone know of this? or is there a site anywhere which shows all the warnings lights and definitions?

between 7 & 8 ?

... don't you mean between 8 & 9 as that is where the Tipronic symbol is.......

is your car a Tiptronic ?

Thanks for that Sundeep - but does anyone think its to do with the battery change (this light was not on beofre the change!)

Could it be a fuse/electrical fault?
