993 targa rear roof felt strip

Hi

I've recently replaced the rear targa roof relt strip as the old one was worn and had started to come loose when the roof was opeated. After remoing the old felt strip I'm not sure it was put in the correct way round. The felt strip itself is profiled with one side shorter than the other, looking at the fit I would assume the shorter side should be facing the front of the car.

Can any 993 targa owners please confirm.
