Hi, will soon be replacing the tyres on my 996 Turbo, first time in Porsche land I have done this... Have found out about the "N" rating system but wanted to know if anyone has switched away from the n3 rated Pirelli Asimmetrico tyres.

Anyone know what the TurboS is being shipped with?

I'm a bit more of a Michelin man :)
or Bridgestone veteran, thanks in advance, Peter

Hello, another Reading man.

Michelin pilot sports and bridgestone so3s are two types you could try.

i've found that Pirelli P Zero assimetricos give lots of noise onece they're half worn, on 993's especially you think youve developed a grinding noice from the brakes,

Bridgestones certainly a more suitable tyre
