Boxster dilemma

Hi I'm about to buy a '99 Boxster 2.5 - have sent it to 2 garages for condition reports but the feedback I'm getting is drastically different. The 'authorised' dealer says I have to change a whole list of stuff, like Airmass, evaporator, '996 362 125 55 and 51', 205/50 ZR 17 NB, and just about every other filter & O ring on the car. I thought it was ridiculous and got a second opinion, and the other garage with does POrsches as well, came up with a short list of Airmass/oxygen sensor and brakepads. Is it normal for a '99 model with 89000km to it to have as many deficiencies as the 1st report?

I'm not an aficionado but I'd walk away from a car that might need that much doing to it. There's plenty more fish in the sea.

Well since MT is in Dubai does not matter to travel from UK to Dubai or from Italy to Dubai so have a look also here:
http://www.autoscout24.it/
(select the manufactor - marca and the model - modello) and then click on find (trova).

About the car you are looking you should check what is standard for the service at that mileage and what is not. If the non standard is a long list you better go away as Porsche are quite expensive cars to fix and the repair cost is related to the cost of the new car and not the used one so can be extremely hight.
