Like Manek I would thoroughly recommend PCT for a PPI - I had my 964 driven down to them about 4 years ago from Stoke, and met them there. After a very thorough and brisk test drive, the comment was ' If I were you I'd buy this car - in fact, if I were me, I'd buy this car'. So I did - and sound advcie it was - OK, they were'nt to know about the massive depreciation from 1999-2001...

What these guys don't know about 911's isn't worth knowing - they own the first UK registered 911 !!

Anyway, thats now gone ( though features on my site
www.sportscarguides.com) but I have a new toy, a 952.

Happy Porschering folks !

964man - what is a 952? 944 Turbo S?

James

952 - an unintentional teaser - it was late and the bottle was nearly empty..but you're right, its the 250bhp 944T - the early ones were called the S or Silver Rose, the later ones simply 944T - apparently the S was put out as a 250hp limited edition, at a price premium, then people got a bit cheesed off when the std car was uprated from the 220hp to this engine.

I bought it as its teh practicality of my prevoius 944S2 with teh power of my ex 964.

Is that not a 951?

Either way, I understand they are potent cars :)

It says 952 in my log book - I think 951 was the 220bhp car which ended in 1989. And yes, it goes nicely thanks - but doesn't quite have the right sound....
