Well, looks like I'll be taking the plunge soon. However I need some advice.

is it imperative that the Cyl head mods have been done to stop oil leaks?

is it imperative that the distributer mods have been done?

Whats the recomendations for tyres? I know they have to be "N" type, but what manufacturer?

Is there a preference to colour. Weird question but as I'll be having the car for some time it will make a difference come resale time.

Anything else you think I'll need to know please drop me a line.

Thanks

Kevin.

Kevin, with regard to colour, if you're going to keep the car for a while, I wouldn't worry too much, colours are in and out of fashion all the time. As long as you don't go for anything like yellow or orange (unless it's an RS/Turbo, in which case the wilder the better in my opinion) it'll be fine.

Consider also the leather/paint combination. I've seen some god awfull choices!

- I'll leave the experts to answer your other questions!

Ok thanks

Colour is probably Red, with cream half leather, and red piping. Looks OK. better than the black interiors? imho.
