I have taken policies in the past with ALA. They seemed to have stopped.Never had to claim by gods grace.
Try Direct Gap. You might get a deal if you take the GAP policy in addition.

The OPC offered wheel/tyre insurance through MAPFRE/Abraxas - the type I have provides cover for Diamond Cut Wheels & Tyres and offers up to £150 repair per wheel and £300 replacement per tyre, up to a max of 4 wheels/tyres.

I never normally buy this type of cover but the cost was £499 for 3 years, which I thought wasn't half bad for the peace of mind Vs the cost of repairing an alloy OR replacing a tyre.

The cover is administered in the UK by Abraxas Insurance Administration Services Ltd, who are based in Bristol. Tel: 01454 616300

Admittedly, I've never had to make a claim, so I can't recommend them but they could be worth a call.

No problem Smile

Regarding a cover: I'd suggest Classic Additions covers.

I've had bespoke covers from a variety of suppliers over the years (mainly from Specialised Covers) but this time, went with an Ultimate Outdoor cover from Classic Additions.

Despite being waterproof and breathable, the price was only just over £200. It's made from a soft stretchy midweight fabric, fits well and comes with a carry bag for storage. They also offer a locking kit, if it's to be used outdoors.

The only downside is that the cover isn't washable, though it can be wiped clean, with a damp/soapy cloth, if it gets dirty.

They also do a light (washable) dust cover, which isn't stretchy and could be used between washes for about £100.

I might buy one of these as well and use it for the summer and keep the waterproof one for storage over the winter. The combined price of the two, would still be less than I've spent on a single bespoke cover previously.

The dust cover is available through PCGB, with a discount.

HTH Smile

Hi
I’ve just acquired a 992 from Portsmouth OPC and bought both the bodywork and alloys Smartguard protections from Car Care Plan through them. It seemed like a good buy to me and you can get the car tidied up one dent at a time or every few months in one go.

I’ve also got a Classic Additions indoor cover which I’m pleased with. Looks really smart in guards red with a black logo on the bonnet. They offered my the Owners club discount over the phone when I rang them even though I’m not a member Smile
