Hi all,

Just thought I'd introduce myself. Finally became a Porsche owner at the end of last month when I picked up my slate grey Carrera 4S

The car is even better than I could have imagined and I'm loving being able to drive it everyday.

I've already gleaned a lot of information and look forward to be able to start giving back as I learn more.

It's already being fully detailed with a ceramic coating and the wheels refurbed back to OEM silver, full LED interior and side lights too. Was meant to be having Gundo tomorrow but that's going to have to wait due to lockdown

I'm a serial car modifier / maintainer so hope to do as many jobs as I can whilst maintaining my full service history . :D

Welcome and wishing you many happy miles.

I too have done quite a few mods to my 997 and previous 987's which can really enhance the car.

Look forward to some mor pics.

Can't figure a way of adding more than one pic per post at the moment (edit: cracked it)

Very nice ..did you get it detailed?

Wow your car does look great, they sound nice the 997.1 however as you said you were going to get a Gundo Hack done tomorrow, maybe this could be classed as essential works, :?: :cop:

:welcome: to Porsche ownership and to 911uk Sean. :thumb:

Thanks for the welcome all. Forgot the crucial info that it's a manual with the heated sports leather too. Having driven a tiptronic with the comfort seats I knew it had to be manual with sports. I think I've got quite lucky with the colour / spec.

Yea previous owner was a big fan of automated car washes so 2 stage machine polish and a wheel refurb was the only was to being it back to life. It's 98% perfect now just a few scuffs on the front bumper need addressing.

Wow that looks shiny. How many miles?

Best money I spent on mine was a trip to Centre Gravity.

I have the Cargraphic exhaust system, DSC controller, and Numeric shifter fitted too, all of which I'm very happy with.

Next to go on are Function First orange gearbox mount, and cup shifter cables. Think there's going to be some free time ahead!

Welcome to here and very nice indeed . Plenty of options in terms of mods/upgrades which adds to the fun (and keeps your wallet that bit lighter as well ).

It's done 82,000 just under a 1,000 of which are mine so far. Do centre gravity do more than just an alignment?

Nice list of mods there mate! Mine needs a new auxiliary belt by the looks of the one on there so that's next on the list. There's also more side to side play in the shifter than what I imagine there should be but apart from that it drives perfect. I'm trying not to make it too raw or aggressive as I've got that in my other car!
