Dear all,

I have now put a deposit on a 991 Gen 1 Carrera 4, one owner low mileage.
Spec:
PDK, Carrera white
PTV, power steering plus
Sports chrono with white dials
Front / rear sensors
Heated seats and steering wheel
Sports tail pipe

OPC Portsmouth has been reasonably good so far.

My 981 Cayman S will be up on OPC network ( Portsmouth)in a week or so. It is low mileage, unmolested car with decent specifications.

Hope the 991 will be a decent car 😂

Will post some photos after taking delivery later this coming week.

:)

About the 991 C4:

Much more comfortable drive than my 981 Cayman S possibly related to the 19 inch wheels as opposed to 20 inch what I had on the Cayman.
Lovely sound track.
Did not miss Bose as Sound package plus was pretty decent.
Loved the extra stability of the 4 wheel drive system over the corners.
not felt any difference on a normal drive with the PTV. Could be for someone who really tracks the car.
Paint work was pretty decent apart froma minor stone chips on the bumper.
No regrets so far...I would have loved to have a reversing camera as well.

OPC portsmouth was very good and would not hesitate to contact them again for business if needed.

You really wont look back they are fantastic, yours sounds like a good spec & sure footed 4 wheel drive, remember to post some pictures when possible.
Once you learn your way around the PDK its great fun. :thumb:

Thank you. I will put some photos up next weekend.

My Cayman was a PDK . So fairly familiar.

Thank you.
Been off a 911 for 7 years. I am feeling quite happy to be able to get back to one.😌

Great spec of car, and many happy miles of motoring ahead. :thumb:

If you can get the car with PS4S rubber it would be a bonus.

Thank you. I thinks it has Dunlops now. I will check it when I see it next Friday.

Congratulations - I joined the 991 club 2 weeks ago with my GTS with the last of the NA's - the noise from that exhaust is unreal .....enjoy

BOOM! Another NA 991 convert!

:lurk2: Looking forward to the pics!

Thank you !

Congrats, get some pictures up and let us know what you think of it. I too recently joined the 991 club and have so far managed ~10 miles.... Due to crap weather and now stuck abroad at work :thumb:

Thank you. I will take it this Friday hopefully and post some pics.

Congrats, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. :thumb:

My .2 GTS came out of hibernation last week. It went to Preston for some new shoes and the alignment doing.

I was going to hold off on new tyres as after just shy of 10k miles the tread depth was 3-4mm on the rears, but the inner sidewalls were in a right state. I only found that out when the rear wheels came off for a refurb.

It turned out the rear camber was well out. So, that's now been corrected.

Scott in service at Preston was very good too, and they were the most competitive on price.

I had my first real drive up in the Dales on Friday for nearly four months, and it was great to be back behind the wheel.

Enjoy!
