Sending a Steering wheel with airbag to Sweden?

I'm bidding on a steering wheel with airbag on Ebay to fit my Porsche 997, but after some research, I found out that it's almost impossible to send a steering wheel with airbag. I understand the issue with flight service but road delivery seams also to be an issue.
Any ideas? I will travel to UK next month, but unfortunetly by air so I can't bring it back my self.

I'm all ears.

I had steering wheel and airbag sent to me individually in the same but larger box. The airbag is easily removed from the steering wheel and can be packaged in a smaller box inside the larger box with the steering wheel.
 
It makes no difference if the air bag is on the wheel or not. Best option would be, and I have shipped quite a few like this, describe it as "used car interior part". It obviously the explosive part of the air bag that is a problem with airlines although there is no way it would ever go off.
 
Parcel force or Hermes? Maybe I can have the Steering wheel with me on the return flight and send only the airbag via post.

Perhaps DHL, they are a bit more of a specialist courier and might be more considerate to the package content?

I have used them in the past for a bulky land delivery and it didn't take too long either.
 
I have a friend working in Sweden that will be driving his van back at some point ..... not sure when though, but would imagine within the next month or so :dont know:
