Chris Harris tests the newest threat to Tesla's domination - the brand new, 761bhp all-electric Porsche Taycan. And despite it's grippy four-wheel-drive electric architecture, Harris manages to get it sideways. Of course he does.

Watch the full test this Sunday at 8pm on BBC Two.

Smokin' fantastic!! :worship:

...or record it, watch it at some point at least 3/4 of an hour after 8pm and fast forward the rest of the show...? :?:

Hi

Impressive, but 2.4 tonnes! That is crazy. EV's are the future and all that, but the battery tech has a long way to go still.

Got to say it looked amazing on TG. No electric car has interested me yet but this did get my attention. Looks like it could be interesting to drive.

Teslas have not excited me as the build quality and interiors look poor. You'd hope the Taycan will have Porsche quality. When they appear in OPCs I'll be popping down to take a look. The infrastructure has to improve a lot in the UK before I would consider an electric only car but this looks like a big step in the right direction.
