Ha! They also seem to never have seized bolts or rounded nuts!
To be honest, it was quite straight forward, if not a little fiddly. The YouTube community is just awesome for information like this forum.

Still, saved myself way over a hundred quid, so that can go towards a car cover me thinks!

Centre Gravity are awesome. Car feels 100% planted now.
The guys there are super friendly and enthusiastic, but above all, their knowledge is unbelievable.
The car felt a bit twitchy when I got it, under steering and a couple of intermittent rattles, nothing that made it bad to drive, but lacked something that my 996 had.
After Pete at CG got his hands on it, the car was transformed in to a weapon!

New Eibach Lowering Springs, new lower ball joint, new top mounts, bearings and stoppers, toe arm, and a pair of front discs ( the car came with skimmed discs which were below the minimum thickness recommended but looked new to me!) Bit naughty of the garage that one.

Anyway, I’ve done a couple of runs up my favourite road, ie, driven from South Wales to Manchester via the A470 a couple of times and it’s just amazing!

Can’t wait for my sports exhaust, new speakers and Red centre console now!

I can’t recommend CG enough.

Just finished my DIY grill kit. Blimey, no one said it’d be easy!
To be fair, the hardest part was making the template for the mesh to be cut round. I used some Gorilla adhesive to blob the tabs down on the grills. Also cut the bottom corners out of the rad cowls.
All went back together easily as I labelled everything that came off!

Stoddy.

Looks great. Nice job!

Its quite common to put 15mm spacers on the rear , it looks like it will rub but infact due to the arch being already rolled at the top and the camber pulling the top in it doesn't actually rub. Thumb Thumb

Does it not need re aligning or anything then?
I don’t really want to do another alignment. 🤔

Cheers.
