I have for sale a full set of do88 big pack intercoolers with all pipework.
it includes a ypipe that has had attachments for meth/water injection. these could be blanked off.
Comes with the carbon ducts
I also have the airbox to turbo pipes from do88.
I brought this as I planned to convert it to fit my .1 but I am selling that car
Cash on collection
delivery may be possible depending on location as I do travel for work
Collection from GU14
£2500

Hi

Whats need to be done to make them fit a gen 1 car?

Question to a friendly Indy :)

Will these intercoolers work with standard OEM 997.1 turbo, throttle body, plenum and y pipe. Will the hose from over size do88 intercoolers to OEM bits not be different sizes?

If I remember correctly when I bought my do88 big pack kit a few years back, you had 2 options. One option was if you were keeping your stock Y-pipe etc, then the kit would come with a set of reducers to allow the bigger bore do88 pipe work fit. If you was going to get their bigger bore Y-pipe then you didnt need these.

At 585bhp I imagine you went for the whole lot or did you stick with stock set up?

From what I discussed with them just the ypipe
And the air box to turbo pipes if you want them
But to fit the coolers it's just the y pipe

Indeed, the full do88 big pack with their bigger bore pipes, their optional bigger bore intake pipes, their Y-pipe, plendum, plus gt3 throttle body (84mm?), bmc air filter, new plugs etc. all for the intake side, then Kline exhaust with 100cel cat for exhaust side. The 585bhp is at the wheels, but the mods above apparently are good for a lot more if I venture down the road of different turbos etc. (which is unlikely as its plenty quick enough for me!)

How did the 9e 35 power kit effect your Insurance price wise ?

Looking at 9e`s website to refresh my memory, basically its the 9e28 package but keeping stock turbos - so obviously not quite as powerful, but it has all the other bits included in that package.

Insurance wise, it reduced it considerably!!!! I was paying £500 for stock car, but after the performance mods my premium dropped below £400. My renewal last November was £385 fully comp incl all mods which I felt was pretty reasonable! This is with normal "mainstream" Insurance companies, not "specialists" etc.

Cheers Rich

I cant wait to fit them, then get some 9e magic , and to think it will be faster.

Hi Stu

Without the turbo upgrade what did your car make 0-186mph.
As the 9e28 does it in 28 sec and the 9e35 does it in 35s.
Not sure if Ken told you what it was. Trying to see if the hybrid turbos are worth the extra ££££.

Definitely speak to Ken about using the hybrids along with the DO88 Big Pack Intercoolers, he developed a new map for myself and another two of his customers (we all have 997.1 cars mind you) which is much quicker than maps used on cars with the GT2RS intercoolers.

You mean this 9e 28 kit - she will run a second or two quicker if I get to run her in cool weather with a good launch :D
