Sad new tonight - went to look for my wife's sunglasses in the car and someone with some really poor driving skills swiped my front right wing and bumper. Picture attached.
I'm based in London - does anyone have a good and reasonably priced body shop to recommend? ANy views on how much this is going to cost me would be much appreciated.

I am heartbroken, this car is my baby

To be fair i think a lot of that will polish out .. a good machine polish basically .

Are there any cracks to the front pu ? .. that would possible require a replacement which isn't cheap but from here i can't see any .

A possible blow in of the pu on that corner though .. i'm no bodywork expect but i expect £500 or less for that if the scratches are deep enough to warrant it .

My mum had someone do similar recently, and fortunately it polished out completely, although it hard to tell from your pic, is that a dent in the wing?

I'd use some cutting compound and see what your left with!

I can recommend a shop in Potters Bar, they are just giving my car a complete re spray.

They painted my 3.2 cab a few years back as well.

It was in the oven on Friday so looking forwatd to Saturday morning to seee what it looks like before polishing and re assembly.

Your car will be a simple repair and will not be too expensive so do not worry.

Some of the scratches look a bit deep to polish out.
My neighbour had similar damage on his 2018 Jaguar front bumper a few weeks ago.

Rub down, fill gouged bumper skin, prime and colour £170.
Job done in a few hours on his driveway by a local bumper repair specialist.
Repair invisible.

See what you can polish out with Meguiars ScratchX or Ultimate Compound.

I would say a good bodyshop could blend any remaining damage for under £300

Or take it as an opportunity to repaint the whole PU and get any chips removed.

Thank you for all the feedback gents.
I have identifie a local outfit that looks serious and they will have a look at the car next week to determine if machine polish will do it or a respray is required.
I will post an update on the process and cost once done so the information is here.

There's a massive amount of ground between a polish and a respray so don't go thinking those are your only options.

My local smart repair place has fixed things like that for me for under £100.

I'm dropping the car off tomorrow morning for a polish and we will see what it looks like.

Some of the paint is cracked from the movement of the bumper around the seams though - so ultimately a respray will be necessary at some point.

Given the car sleeps outside and does a few track days i'm not too worried about the bumper looking perfect..

Will keep you all posted with results and costs involved!

So i picked the car up this morning. Did polish only - i am happy with the result relative to the cost i was expecrting.
I also had geometry done at the place as it felt off (indeed toe was allover the
place in the front). Total cost: £200. Local to me in notting hill.
Will let you judge results below with pre- and post- pictures.

The bumper will need respraying at some point and as you will se there are still some scratches that i would have thought would be easier to remove towards the front.
