997 c2 brakes

Hi, Can anyone recommend pads and disc upgrade to improve the brakes on my base Carrera 3.6.
The braking system has been serviced including new flexible hoses and fluid and brake master cylinder changed. But they still don't bite like I think they should.
 
...I have a 996 with new brakes all around, new brake fluid and frankly the fabled Porsche brakes are shite until they are properly warm...when cold a tanker would stop quicker with better braking feel!
