Morning all,

After much thought, I have decided it is time to sell my 993 to add to funds for a House Purchase.. Yes, I love it, yes I'll buy another one in the future, but right now, I wanna get back on the Housing Ladder..

So..

Question I'd like to ask is, what sort of price should I expect to ask..?

Full and Comprehensive Service History, ~105K Miles, documented and receipted Work, cherished, driven, enjoyed and driver focused 993..

Spec here - https://kingroon.blog/listomania/

Nicely modified car in great order. :thumb:

Price depends on how quickly you want to sell. Modified cars usually take a little longer in the Porsche fraternity as most are die hard purists who like originality, however it only takes one buyer looking for something with "a little extra"...

Might want to edit your Blog, RS Speedlines are not Magnesium Centres. Only the 993 Cup Cars and original 993 GT2 Speedlines came with Magnesium Centres.

How much?

Lovely looking car with money spent in the right places but trying to find a buyer in a slow market who appreciates what has been done is another thing.
Chap with the yellow car on here was looking for £55k but it was lower mileage and is now with a garage owning friend where trade ins and finance are available which could make all the difference for a buyer.
As a private seller I think if you can get £40k you are doing okay. You never know that there might be a buyer just waiting for a car like this.

I do have all original parts etc. boxed up, so could be eased back to close to original..

Just looked back through some of your blog posts. What a nice job you've made of that car.
Thanks Amigo, it has been [and will be until the new owner takes ownership!] a pleasure..

Private it's sub £40k IF you can find someone who wants a modded 993. Very few do :?

Condition and provennace will sell it but IMHO it takes a very well presented, low miles NB 993 to command prices above 40 bags especially private

That yellow car looked lovely and if straight would have been sold by a marque specialist like 911v ages ago on SOR for > than £55k probably more like £57,995 - £65,995 depending on condition. By straight I mean no rust, original panel and full service history with old bills and MOTS. Not easy to find a good , lower mileage 993 C2 with no stories.

Red... acquired taste.
Classic Grey Leather... ouch!

Silver & Blue cars seem much more popular. :thumb:

Agreed. To my eyes the 993 is the only 911 that doesn't suit GR.

Reliably informed 911v have sold that red 993 something like 5 times in the last 20 yrs. I bet they buy it back again in a few years from current custodian ;)

Here's my honest opinion: the mods to the car will limit the number of buyers. If I was looking to buy, I'd be put off by the cat bypass (so, is it now decatted? That would rule it out for me), by the 40 mm drop (too many speed bumps where I live), by the seats and by the lack of an airbag. Also, does it have air con? If it doesn't that would be a "no" for me.

Those mods are NOT criticisms, honestly. Your car, your choices. But I do think it will put off most buyers. I may be wrong; someone might say "ooh, those are exactly the mods I want, I'll have it!".

I actually think if it can be returned to near stock, you'll get some money by selling the mods, perhaps a higher sale price for the car, and lots more interest.

In the current very slow market £40k in a private sale would be your maximum, I think. For clarity, I don't want to sound negative - it's a cracking car. Best of luck.
