Thanks for the reply...really like the look of that splitter and I'd be very keen to get one as apparantly there between $170-$190 which is great!...but then the guys who have designed the kit to make it fit which is a few clips and a drill bit are asking $239 for the fitting kit!🤦🏼"â™‚️

Some guys have fitted the lip without the kit , its just a bit more involved and you wont have the little triangles to make it neat but TBH you cannot see that part when its fitted anyway. but even with the kit I didnt think $400 was a bad price for a lip to finish the front off neatly . :thumb:

That looks great - has got me wondering if it would fit a 996...... :D

Rinnspeed style front lip from Ebay as Rinnspeed don't make them anymore

Thats nice mate , is it Flexi like the OE lips or Fibreglass

There is a youtube vid from a guy who fitted the 991 splitter to his 997. Just a few screws were required. And a but of time.

The only issue with using screws is that at the first speed bump or steep kerb it will get ripped off and you will need to keep redrilling other holes or using bigger screws or whatever.

I have found that after having hit such a speed bump and suffering the same fate, that the adaptor kit holds up and enables the splitter to be easily refitted without the need for further screws etc.
