I just want to say thank you to all of you, what a cracking bunch for taking the time and effort to reply to me.
I've been reassured by the comments and I'm getting very excited as I collect it on Saturday morning..

Just sold my f10 M5 but been wanting one of these for a long time.

Carl we want pics and a first drive review when you have picked it up please , and look forward to seeing you getting involved with the Porsche community :thumb: :thumb:

Certainly will

I've already booked the car in for a full corrective detail to include ceramic coating then straight into Severn valley motorsport for a full health check and potential 1st stage tune. The car has 84k miles so I just want to check the car on the rolling road making sure everything is spot on. I have been advised that the mileage wouldn't be an issue as the engines are bullet proof.

Will post pics once it's all done to include power graph

Some pics of the new car

The car needs a new window switch but I test drove the car today and it was epic..

As you are aware turbojim changed the suspension so I'm assuming the suspension button will not work due to the standard suspension being changed.
On the test drive I pressed the sports button and the boost held at 1.2bar but I didn't have any green logo on the dash advising of the over boost. I might be getting confused.

Those wheels are awesome and the car looks great. There is a lifetime of polishing it though to keep it looking like that! :thumb:

Hi

They are OZ Leggera
8.5x19-inch Front (235/35/19)
12x19-inch Rear (325/30/19)

Thanks for the comments!

Unfortunately I'm one of those people that loves a garage queen.

It goes into Midlands car care next week (Detailer) for the following as I want the car looking prestige.

Paint:

Front Bumper
Side Skirts
Rear Air Vents
winder wiper shuttle painted colour coded (the plastic looks worn)
Wing Mirrors

Detailing:
Final stage corrective detail (I want that mirror finish)
PPF the front of the car to include roof and splash guards
Ceramic coating to include wheels

I was going to change the colour of the wheels but they have grown on me.

From there straight to Severn Valley (Telford Tuning ) for a health check, I was reading the write up last night in the total 911 magazine (issue 152) I think the car has been tuned but I'm trying to get hold of James to confirm (previous owner- he built a cracking car)

I will put more pics up when it's being detailed.

This was my previous car

M3 E92 - I had it supercharged running 621bhp

Many thanks.

A full health check done today with the car being put on the dyno. 546bhp and 562Ibs of torque. Cylinder 2 and 3 had a slight misfire so I've agreed to pay half replacing all the coil packs and replacing the spark plugs. Overall very strong power and in great condition
