|
 |
|
Hi, looking to find some Michelins PS4S N rated somewhere near London.
Struggling hard to get fronts and rears. Called up Michelin and they have zero
central stock and no eta on new batches.
Anyone have any tips on where I could source or perhaps should give up?
Have Pzeros now but N0s, hearing N1s are better that might be another option?
Txs

Definitely worth going in as they seem to be able to delve deeper on their system vs online _________________ 997.2 Carrera 2S GT Silver/Cocoa.

Black Circles have them in stock (I checked yesterday) and also be aware that a lot of Michelin dealers (although not Black Circles) are doing a £100 off four tyres discount at the moment. I can't figure out how to post the offer email I got but this is the link:

N rated Michelin’s are only available in 305 for the rears, that will be why no one has stock
Unfortunately everyone’s stuck with P zeros for a reason
Edit, but if your car is a widebody you should be on 305 rears? _________________ 991 C2S PDK - X51 430 powerkit, Carbon GT2 folding buckets, PCCB, PDCC, PSE, Carrera S alloys, Sports design bodykit with ducktail and Alcantara steering wheel. If Carling did a 991S...

Have you been out in the wet yet
Seriously compared to the Michelins its night and day, in the wet the P zeros are absolutely lethal, the 4 wheel drive will no doubt compensate and make things seem ok. But in a 2S _________________ 991 C2S PDK - X51 430 powerkit, Carbon GT2 folding buckets, PCCB, PDCC, PSE, Carrera S alloys, Sports design bodykit with ducktail and Alcantara steering wheel. Have this exact same issue. After speaking with a specialist the options appear to be:
1. Go without N rated - not an option for me due to warranty.
2. Michelin CUP tyres - not a great solution for an everyday road car.
Really don't want to replace like with like and keep running P-Zeros I find them really poor in the wet.

Camskill have Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2's if that helps? Give them a call to see if they can get 4's?

Have you tried eBay? A friend of mine bought some new for his BMW, even with shipping from Germany they were good value.
Also, if you go to the Michelin website you can chat online with them, they should be able to advise on availability.

The question is really can you fit a 305 width tyre on an 11J rim? Otherwise the only option is change to an 11.5 J (such as the sport techno’s) you then have the choice of the Michelin 4S or (if you can find them) or Dunlop sport max.
For the 11J rim only the Pirelli is available in N rated. _________________ 991 C2S PDK - X51 430 powerkit, Carbon GT2 folding buckets, PCCB, PDCC, PSE, Carrera S alloys, Sports design bodykit with ducktail and Alcantara steering wheel. If Carling did a 991S...

Ahh yes, I see what you mean now
Looks like the only option is P Zero's or non N rated
